The adapter specified in the boot list is not present or not functioning.
For an AIX® operating system:
Try booting the blade server from another bootable device; then, run AIX online diagnostics against the failing adapter.
If AIX cannot be booted from another device, boot the blade server using the stand-alone diagnostics CD or a NIM server; then, run diagnostics against the failing adapter.
For a Linux® operating system, boot the blade server using the stand-alone diagnostics CD or a NIM server; then, run diagnostics against the failing adapter.
Rebooted the machine using the ‘immediate’ option.
One of the LPARs is in ‘Open Firmware’ state.
I opened the vterm and the option list was displayed:

Type menu item number and press Enter or select Navigation key:
Service Management System (SMS) was closed and the machine was restarted.
Once brought it back again, it worked.
Power Outage interrupted a normal boot-up of the machine.
