how to remove old kernels – CentOS/Red Hat

  1. Install additional utilities of yum package manager
    yum install yum-utils -y
  2. Run package cleaner, leaving two kernels on the /boot partition:
    package-cleanup --oldkernels --count=2

Note: You need root privileges to execute the above commands.
